Music
The Visual and Performing Arts Department provides a wide variety of music courses including instrumental training,
music history, and music technology. Performance ensembles include the award-winning Marching Band & Color Guard and
various Jazz Bands.
Participation in the music department requires that one play an instrument or be willing to learn. Valley Christian
musicians work for the glory of God, and students must provide commitment, dedication and time to the group. Participation
in outside concerts and activities is expected by all ensembles. The groups perform at major concerts, football and
basketball games, graduation, and other various events.
