PTPF Board
1) The elected officers of each fellowship shall
be the president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and teacher
endowment committee member.
2) The nomination
and election process shall be as follows: The principal shall
submit the names of potential candidates for elected offices and
standing committee chairmanships to the board of directors of
Valley Christian Schools for approval. From the list of approved
candidates, the principal in consultation with the executive committee
for the elected offices of the fellowship will select nominees.
These officers shall be elected annually by the members of the
fellowship at a regular meeting during the fourth quarter of the
school year and will assume office effective July 1st. No officer
shall be eligible for the same office for more than two consecutive
years at the same campus. Nominees for office shall sign the doctrinal
statement of the school prior to taking offie. Standing committee
chairmen may be appointed by the president from the list of candidates
approved by the board of directors. The Teacher Endowment committee
member shall serve on the district wide teacher endowment committee
in cooperation with the leadership of the Teacher Endowment Chairperson.
3) A vacancy occurring
in an elected office during the year shall be filled by a vote
of the members of the fellowship at the next regular meeting,
due notice of such an election having been given.
4) Appropriate and
necessary standing committees may be formed by the president in
consultation with the principal. These may include a publicity
committee, a committee for special projects, booster clubs, room
mother representation and such other committees and representations
as the president and principal deem necessary and appropriate.
5) The school principal
shall be an ex-officio member of all committees.
6) The assistant
principal may be an ex-officio member of all committees at the
principal’s option.
